Process

We understand it can be intrusive to have someone in your home or business; we work with you to create a plan that works for you so you can live your life and run your business without interruption during the project.  Once the work begins we take great care to cover and protect your belongings so they are not damaged during the project. We also communicate every step of the way, updating you on the progress.

 

When you call Image Painting and Restoration for service we will provide an on-site consultation. During this appointment our team members will assess the project and highlight any potential challenges and any needed repairs.

 

We take all that information and provide you with a detailed estimate so you have all the costs in advance of your appointment.  You will also receive a checklist to prepare for painting day. Two days before your appointment one of our team members will call to confirm the appointment and address any last minute concerns.

During the painting process we will communicate updates with you so you know what to expect throughout the completion of the job.

 

Drywall Repair

Drywall repair is an essential part of the painting process.  Even small drywall damage like nail holes or furniture scuffs can be exaggerated if they are not repaired before painting.  Prior to any paint job our team of professionals will walk through your home or business and assess any potential damage.  

Small holes like those from nails can be quickly and easily repaired using spackle, larger damage like dents and holes will require a patch.  Patching requires a bit more time as our team will need to measure, cut and replace the damaged drywall before applying spackle and sanding the surface to make sure it is smooth before applying the paint.

Paint requires a smooth surface for optimum performance and our teams are experts at finding and correcting all the imperfections so your project runs smoothly.

Wallpaper Removal

Wallpaper can be tricky to remove.  The approach depends on the type of paper, and when and how it was applied.  In some cases it may peel off very easily, in others it may require steaming, scraping and solvents.  Our team of professionals knows how to identify and tackle any wallpaper challenge with ease. Once the paper is removed they will get to work prepping the surface for a smooth paint application.  This may require drywall repair and sanding.
